A Manhattan man is currently in custody following his involvement in a stabbing that occurred on Friday, March 1, 2024.
Henry Lee Morgan, 45, was arrested at approximately 6:41 PM on Friday and charged with aggravated battery- knowingly using physical contact in an angry/rude manner with a weapon.
Officers responded to a call for service in the 200 block of N. 9th. Once on the scene officers found a 34-year-old male had been stabbed. The victim was transported to Via Christie via EMS and was later transferred to a larger hospital for more acute care.
Morgan's bond was set at $100,000. Morgan is currently confined at the Riley County Jail. The investigation remains ongoing.
