The Riley County Police Department has created forms intended for citizen feedback concerning interactions and observations of our officers as well as a form for contacting us regarding a community engagement/speaking engagement:

  • Voice a Concern: RCPD welcomes criticism of the department and valid concerns against its members or procedures that do not require filing a formal complaint or an internal investigation.
  • File a Formal Complaint: The Department's Internal Affairs Office formally investigates citizen complaints regarding police department personnel or policies.
  • Compliment an Employee: Citizens often have positive interactions with members of our department and the Director welcomes hearing from citizens about these experiences.
  • Community Engagement / Speaking Form Interested in having an officer/officers/RCPD personnel speak or attend an event you are hosting? Complete the form at the heading of this bullet to put in a request.

    Riley County Police Department welcomes your questions and comments (email is only monitored during normal business hours, Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm). Please contact us by using this form or emailing RCPD. If you have an emergency, Dial 911 (Voice and TDD/TTY). If you are out of the Riley County area and have an emergency, please still call 911. If you cannot be transferred, please call our non-emergent line at 785-537-2112.
