Manhattan, Kan. -
Officers filed a report of theft by deception on December 31, 2024, at approximately 1:43 PM in the 300 block of Main Street. Officers list Meat Works of Kansas as the victim when it was reported the business was deceived by email for the purchase of 15,000 lbs of ground beef by an unknown subject. Total estimated loss associated with this report is $60,000. Anyone with information can contact Crime Stoppers. Allyson Gann, 37, of Manhattan, was arrested on December 31, 2024, at approximately 2:02 PM in the 100 block of Courthouse Plz. Gann was arrested on a Riley County District Court warrant for failure to appear. The original charges in this matter were for aggravated battery, battery, and domestic battery. Total bond was set at $12,000. Gann was confined at the time of this report.
Asia Foster, 32, was arrested on December 31, 2024, at approximately 11:55 PM in Manhattan. Foster was arrested on the probable cause offenses of battery on an LEO, sexual battery, domestic battery, criminal restraint, and interference with an LEO. Total bond was set at $10,000. Foster was confined at the time of this report.
Braden Hooper, 21, of Manhattan, was arrested on January 1, 2025, at approximately 3:02 AM in the 1000 block of Vattier Street. Hooper was arrested on the probable cause offenses of domestic battery and criminal damage to property. Total bond was set at $6,000. Hooper was confined at the time of this report.
Officers filed a report of rape on January 1, 2025, at approximately 10:04 AM in Manhattan. Due to the nature of this report, no other details will be released at this time.
