Manhattan, Kan. -

Officers filed a report of theft in the 2500 block of Butterfield Ct. on November 29, 2024, at approximately 7:05 PM.  Officers listed a 45-year-old female as the victim when it was reported a known male took her cell phone. Total loss associated with this report is approximately $1,600. 

Officers filed a report of vehicle burglary in the 1900 block of College Heights Road on November 30, 2024, at approximately 10:11 AM.  Officers listed a 20-year-old male as the victim when it was reported a plate carrier and ceramic plates were stolen from his vehicle by an unknown subject. Total loss associated with this report is approximately $3,000. Anyone with information can contact Crime Stoppers. Officers filed a report of an injury accident on November 30, 2024, at approximately 10:49 AM at the corner of Leavenworth Street and N. Juliette Ave.  Offices report a 2013 Toyota Tacoma driven by John Mayes, 21, collided head-on with a 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan driven by Marco Galeano-Casco, 47.  Galeano-Casco was transported via EMS to Via Christi for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. He was cited for driving without a driver's license and no proof of insurance. 

Officers filed a report of an injury accident on November 30, 2024, at approximately 1:20 PM at the intersection of Richards Drive and Fort Riley Blvd. Officers report a 1997 Ford F-150 driven by William McNee, 66, of Junction City, struck a 2014 Honda Odyssey driven by Charles Stutler, 30, of San Antonio, Texas. Both vehicles had passengers. Both front passengers were transported to Via Christi via EMS for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

Officers filed a report of aggravated criminal threat on December 1, 2024, at approximately 4:57 PM in the 600 block of Tuttle Creek Blvd.  Officers listed both T Mobile and a 47-year-old female as the victim when it was reported the subject threatened to shoot the female. 

Dashawn Issac Kareem Edwards, 21, of Manhattan, was arrested on December 1, 2024, at approximately 8:17 PM in the 3100 block of Lundin Drive. Edwards was arrested on the probable cause offenses of domestic battery, criminal damage to property, and intimidation of a witness. Total bond was set at $6,000. Edwards was confined at the time of this report.
