Manhattan, Kan. -
Officers filed a report of criminal damage to property in the 1700 block of Fair Lane on May 30, 2024, at approximately 11:12 AM. Officers listed a 44-year-old male as the victim when it was reported a catalytic converter had been removed from from his vehicle by an unknown subject. Total estimated loss associated with this matter is $1,300. Anyone with information can contact Crime Stoppers. Using Crime Stoppers allows you to remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
Joseph Brown, 21, of Manhattan, was arrested on May 30, 2024, at approximately 11:30 AM in the 1000 block of South Seth Child Road. Brown was arrested on a Riley County District Court warrant for failure to appear. The original charge in this matter is for violation of a protection order. Total bond was set at $6,000. Brown was not confined at the time of this report.
Justin Nunez, 26, of Manhattan, was arrested on May 30, 2024 at approximately 12:55 PM in the 2300 block of Candlewood Drive. Nunez was arrested on a Riley County District Court warrant for distribution or possession with intent to distribute drug paraphernalia for illegal use, possession of marijuana, use/possession with the intent to use drug paraphernalia into the human body, attempt to distribute substance in 65-4105(h) dose 100-< 1000 units, attempt to distribute marijuana 450 grams - < 30 kilograms. Nunez's bond was set at $15,000 and he was not confined at the time of this report.
