Manhattan, Kan. -

Officers filed a report of felony theft in the 400 block of Poyntz Ave. on May 10,2o24, at approximately 12:50 PM.  Officers listed Ross Dress for Less as the victim when it was reported an unknown female left the store with approximately $2,000 worth of merchandise for which she did not pay.  Anyone with information can contact Crime Stoppers. Using Crime Stoppers allows you to remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward of up to $1,000.


Officers filed a report of theft in the 1200 block of Laramie Street on May 10, 2024, at approximately 1:19 PM.  Officers listed a 23-year-old male as the victim when it was reported his moped was stolen by an unknown suspect.  Total estimated loss in this matter is $2,500. Anyone with information can contact Crime Stoppers. Using Crime Stoppers allows you to remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward of up to $1,000.


Officers filed a report of criminal use of a financial card x3 in the 2400 block of Walden Lane on May 11, 2024, at approximately 11:43 AM.  Officers listed a 59-year-old male as the victim when it was reported an unknown suspect used his financial card without permission.  Total estimated loss in this matter is $200.  Anyone with information can contact Crime Stoppers. Officers filed a report of criminal damage to property and burglary in the 100 block of Pillsbury Drive on May 11, 2024, at approximately 7:44 PM.  Officers listed a 21-year-old female as the victim when it was reported her vehicle was broken into and the contents left inside were taken.  Total estimated loss in this matter combined is $2,000.  Anyone with information can contact Crime Stoppers. Using Crime Stoppers allows you to remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward of up to $1,000.


Officers filed a report of criminal damage to property at the corner of Goodnow Ave and Tecumseh Road on May 12, 2024, at approximately 3:51 PM.  Officers listed a 41-year-old male as the victim when it was reported a known suspect used a hatchet to damage the roof of the victim's vehicle.  Total estimated loss in this matter is over $1,000.  


Keyante White, 27, of Manhattan, was arrested on May 12, 2024, at approximately 11:27 AM in the 200 block of N. 9th Street.  White was arrested on probable cause offenses of criminal restraint, criminal deprivation of property, domestic battery x2, and use/possess with the intent to use drug paraphernalia. Total bond was set at $9,000. White was confined at the time of this report.
