Manhattan, Kan. -
Officers filed a report of criminal damage to property in the 500 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive in Manhattan at approximately 8:00 PM on March 19, 2024. Officers listed a 21-year-old female as the victim when it was reported that a known subject damaged the passenger door and driver's mirror of her vehicle. Total damages associated with this case are approximately $3,000.
Colton Gardiner, 32, of Manhattan, was arrested on March 19, 2024, at approximately 6:26 AM for aggravated domestic battery and domestic battery after it was reported he hit and placed a 26-year-old man known to him in a chokehold during an altercation. Gardiner was confined in the Riley County Jail with a total bond of $7,000 at the time of this report.
