Manhattan, Kan. -

Officers filed a report of an injury motor vehicle collision in the 100 block of Moro St on March 15, 2024, at approximately 7:58 PM. Officers reported a 2019 Volkswagon Jetta, driven by John Cain, 46, of Manhattan struck Catherine Caffera, 28, of Manhattan, who was on a bicycle. Caffera was transported via EMS to Via Christi. Neither party was issued a citation.

Officers filed a report of aggravated domestic battery in Manhattan on March 15, 2024, at approximately 9:15 PM. Officers listed the victim as a 29-year-old female as the victim when it was reported a male known to her strangled her. The victim was transported to the hospital for evaluation. Due to the nature of this matter (domestic), no further information will be released.

Officers filed a report of criminal damage to property in the 2200 block of College Ave. in Manhattan on March 16, 2024, at approximately 12:12 AM.  Officers listed a 22-year-old male as the victim when it was reported a known male suspect used a paint marker to defile the victim's 2013 Cadillac XTS. Total loss associated with this is approximately $3,000.

Amy Roth, 38, of Manhattan was arrested on a custody warrant for probation violation x 2 in the 1000 block of Yuma Street, in Manhattan, Kansas, on March 15, 2024, at approximately 5:23 PM.  The original charges were for forgery, possession of stolen property, and theft.  The total bond was set at $23,000. Roth was confined at the time of this report.

Jimmy Bond, 70, of Ogden was arrested on a custody warrant for misuse of public funds and official misconduct in the 100 block of S. Walnut in Ogden, Kansas, on March 15, 2024, at approximately 6:29 PM.  The total bond was set at $25,000. Bond was not confined at the time of this report.

Mason Randolph, 35, of Manhattan was arrested on a probable cause warrant for aggravated domestic battery in Manhattan, Kansas, on March 15, 2024, at approximately 9: 49 PM.  The total bond was set at $10,000. Randolph was confined at the time of this report.

Emily Gibson, 19, of Manhattan was arrested on a probable cause warrant for sexual battery, liquor; purchase/possession/consumption by a minor first conviction, criminal damage to property, and domestic battery in Manhattan, Kansas, on March 16, 2024, at approximately 10: 29 PM.  The total bond was set at $6,000. Gibson was confined at the time of this report.
