Manhattan, Kan. -

Officers filed a report for domestic criminal damage to property in Manhattan on January 8, 2024, around 10:31 PM. Officers listed a 62-year-old female as the victim when she reported a known male suspect damaged an interior garage door at her residence. The estimated total loss associated with this case is $500. Due to the nature of the crime reported (domestic) no additional information will be released.

Zelayha Vincent, 23, of Fort Riley, was arrested while at the Riley County Police Department on January 8, 2024, around 2:10 PM. Vincent was arrested on a Riley County District Court warrant for failure to appear, criminal use of a financial card without the consent of the owner less than $1,000, criminal deprivation of property, attempted criminal use of a financial card without the consent of the owner less than $1,000 x 3, theft of property or services- less than $1,500 x 2, identity theft x2, computer unlawful acts, mistreatment dependent adult/elder person x 2. Vincent was also arrested on a Junction City Warrant for failure to appear.  The original charge was for driving while suspended. The crimes were reported to have occurred in September of 2021. Vincent was issued a total bond of $11,500 and was not confined at the time of this report.
