Manhattan, Kan. -

Officers responded to the report of an injury crash near the 300 block of East Poyntz Avenue in Manhattan on December 14, 2023, around 12:53 PM. When officers arrived on scene they found a Honda Accord driven by Adrian Ortega of Ogden, crashed with a Hyundai Tucson driven by Taina Concepcion, of Manhattan. A juvenile passenger was transported to Via Christi for treatment of their injuries. Ortega was issued a citation for failure to yield the right of way. Additional information including ages will be updated after the report is complete. 

Summary of Reports Filed: Report information was collected during a 24-hour period (6:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m.) starting on the day prior to this day's post. Weekend reports are collected from Friday at 6:00 a.m. to Monday at 6:00 a.m. Some names, addresses, and case details are withheld to follow local, state, and federal laws and in an attempt to protect community members from being victimized further.
