Officers filed a report for criminal damage to property in the 1100 block of North 8th Street in Manhattan on October 11, 2023, around 2:12 PM. Officers listed a 20-year-old male as the victim when it was reported an unknown suspect dented his white 2015 Toyota Sequoia and knocked out his mirror while in his driveway. Officers filed a report for fraud-counterfeiting currency and theft by deception in the 800 block of Commons Place in Manhattan on October 11, 2023, around 2:36 PM. Officers listed Target as the victim when it was reported an unknown suspect used counterfeit bills to make a purchase. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $500. Alexander Arnwine, 20, of Manhattan was arrested while in the 3300 block of Newbury Street in Manhattan on October 12, 2023 around 1:39 AM. Arnwine was arrested on probable cause offenses of domestic battery, battery on LEO, and interference with LEO. Arnwine was issued a total bond of $19,000 and was confined at the time of this report. Due to the nature of the crime reported (domestic) no additional information will be released.
Lanajia Sanders, 24, of Manhattan was arrested while in the 600 block of Colorado Street in Manhattan on October 11, 2023, around 1:30 PM. Sanders was arrested on a Pottawatomie County District Court warrant for theft by deception. Sanders was issued a total bond of $5,000. Sanders was not confined at the time of this report.
