Manhattan, Kan. -

Officers filed a report of vehicle burglary on December 6, 2024, at approximately 7:13 AM in the 1100 block of Ratone Street.  Officers listed a 24-year old male of Manhattan and a 23-year-old female of Parsons, Kansas as the victim when it was reported their Ford passenger vehicle was stolen along with a Remington 12 gauge and a CZ 12 gauge shotgun by an unknown subject. The car was subsequently recovered. Total loss associated with this report is approximately $1,050. Anyone with information can contact Crime Stoppers. Officers filed a report of domestic battery, criminal restraint, criminal damage to property, aggravated domestic battery, and aggravated assault in Ogden on December 6, 2024, at approximately 9:46 AM. Due to the nature of this report, no other information will be released at this time.

Officers filed a report of aggravated assault in the 100 block of Fort Riley Blvd on December 6, 2024, at approximately 5:05 PM.  Officers listed a 30-year-old female as the victim when it was reported a 20-year-old male brandished a rifle at the victim who was trying to merge onto the highway. 

Nichole Cochrun, 26, of Manhattan, was arrested on December 6, 2024, at approximately 6:00 in the 1000 block of S. Seth Child Road. Cochrun was arrested on a Riley County District Court warrant for failure to appear. Total bond was set at $20,000. Cochrun was confined at the time of this report.

Jeremy Richmond, 32, of Topeka, was arrested on December 6, 2024, at approximately 10:30 PM in the 1000 block of S. Seth Child Road.  Richmond was arrested on a Riley County District Court warrant for failure to appear x 5. Total bond was set at $6,250. Richmond was confined at the time of this report.

Officers filed a report of theft in the 1900 block of Bluestem Terrace on December 8, 2024, at approximately 11:55 AM.  Officers listed a 65-year-old male as the victim when it was reported two bicycles were stolen from his residence by an unknown subject. Total loss associated with this report is approximately $`1,000. Anyone with information can contact Crime Stoppers. Officers filed a report of a single-vehicle rollover accident on December 8, 2024, at approximately 12:47 PM in the 2500 block of Marlatt Ave..  Officers listed 17-year-old Malachi Kahssay, of Manhattan, as the driver. It was reported Kahssay was distracted and lost control of his vehicle resulting in the accident. Kahssay was transported by EMS to Via Christi for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. Kahssay was cited for using a cellphone without hands-free.

Kenneth Scott, 64, of Manhattan, was arrested on December 9, 2024, at approximately 3:14 AM in the 2100 block of Patricia Place. Scott was arrested on the probable cause offenses of aggravated assault and criminal threat. Total bond was set at $10,000. Scott was confined at the time of this report.
