Officers filed a report of motor vehicle theft in the 2700 block of Leslie Lane on December 3, 2024 at approximately 10:32 AM. Officers listed a 46-year old female and a 21-year-old male as the victim when it was reported their 2004 Toyota Tacoma was stolen overnight. Total loss associated with this report is approximately $6,000. Anyone with information can contact Crime Stoppers. Officers filed a report of motor vehicle theft on December 3, 2024, at approximately 2:19 PM in the 3300 block of Musil Drive. Officers listed a 23-year-old male as the victim when it was reported his Mazda 6 was stolen during the morning hours. At approximately 11:38 PM the vehicle was recovered.
Officers filed a report of theft on December 3, 2024, at approximately 2:19 PM in the 100 block of Manhattan Town Center. Officers listed Ulta Beauty as the victim when it was reported two unknown female subjects $1,663 worth of products. Anyone with information can contact Crime Stoppers. Officers filed a report of discharging a firearm in the city limits on December 3, 2024, at approximately 6:52 PM in the 2500 block of Farm Bureau Road. Officers report a 19-year-old male shot himself in the foot. The 19-year-old was transported to Via Christi by EMS for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
Corey Troxel, 27, of Manhattan, was arrested on a Riley County District Court warrant for burglary, battery, attempted burglary, theft of property or services value $25,000-$100,000, and theft of property or services value less than $1,500. Total bond was set at $20,750. Troxel was confined at the time of this report.
