Officers filed a report for burglary in the 3900 block of Stone Creek Ct. in Manhattan on October 24, 2024 at approximately 4:28 p.m. A 29-year-old man was listed as the victim when it was reported an unknown suspect entered his vehicle and took his archery bow and two firearms. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $4,900. Anyone with information can contact Crime Stoppers. Officers responded to an unattended death in the 500 block of Richards Dr in Manhattan on October 25, 2024, at approximately 2:37 a.m. A 40-year-old man was found deceased. At this time, we have no reason to believe there was any other party involved in the man’s death.
Joseph Bauer, 20, of Manhattan was arrested on October 24, 2024, at approximately 8:35 a.m. on a Riley County District Court warrant for probation violation and issued no bond. Bauer remains confined in the Riley County Jail.
Anthony Sutton, 42, of Manhattan was arrested on October 24, 2024, at approximately 12:46 p.m. on a Riley County District Court warrant for failure to appear and issued a total bond of $10,000. Sutton remains confined in the Riley County Jail.
