Manhattan, Kan. -

Officers filed a report of vehicle burglary in the 500 block of Richards Drive on August 2, 2024, at approximately 7:27 AM.  Officers listed a 59-year-old male as the victim when it was reported his truck was broken into overnight by an unknown subject and approximately $5,000 worth of plumbing tools were taken. Anyone with information can contact Crime Stoppers. Using Crime Stoppers allows you to remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward of up to $1,000.

Officers filed a report of a missing person in Manhattan on August 2, 2024, at approximately 9:56 AM.  A family member called to report he was unable to locate a 20-yea-old female. The female was located on August 4, 2024. No other information will be released regarding this report.

Officers filed a report of domestic aggravated burglary, aggravated battery, theft, criminal destruction of property, and violation of a protection order in Manhattan on August 2, 2024, at approximately 2:30 PM. Due to the nature of this report, no other information will be released at this time.

Donnithan Jones, 31, of Dodge City, Kansas, was arrested on August 2, 2024, at approximately 12:15 PM in the 1000 block of S. Seth Child Road.  Jones was arrested on the probable cause offense of distribution or possession with the intent to distribute heroin/certain stimulants- 3.5-100 grams.  Total bond was set at $40.000. Jones was confined at the time of this report.

Madeliene Gray, 27, of Manhattan, was arrested on August 3, 2024, at approximately 4:17 PM in the 100 block of Eighth Street. Gray was arrested for the probable cause offense of aggravated domestic battery. Total bond was set at $8,000. Gray was confined at the time of this report.

Joseph Bruce, 37, of Bennington, New Brunswick, was arrested on August 3, 2024, at approximately 6:25 PM in the 1000 block of S. Seth Child Road.  Bruce was arrested on Riley County District Court warrants for failure to appear, deceptive commercial practice, and attempted theft of property or services- value $1,500-$25,000. Total bond was set at $75,000. Bruce was confined at the time of this report.

Officers filed a report of an injury accident on August 4, 2024, at approximately 4:00 PM at the corner of Barton and Falcon Roads.  Officers report a 2016 Dodge Caravan, driven by 62-year-old Deanna Currey of Riley, rounded a corner and was unable to stop before striking the rear end of a 2023 Audi driven by 70-year-old Deborah Dugan of Castle Rock, Colorado. Dugan was transported to Via Christi via EMS for non-life-threatening injuries. Currey was issued a citation for following too close.

Officers filed a report of motor vehicle theft in the 1000 block of Garden Way on August 4, 2024, at approximately 7:33 PM.  Officers listed a 26-year-old male as the victim when it was reported his 2004 Green Nissan Titan missing. Total loss associated with this report is approximately $5,000. Anyone with information can contact Crime Stoppers. Using Crime Stoppers allows you to remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward of up to $1,000.

Adrain Lambert, 45, of Manhattan, was arrested on August 4, 2024, at approximately 2:40 PM in the 1200 block of Fremont Street. Lambert was arrested on the probable cause offenses of attempted theft of property or services <$1,500 with 2 or more convictions within 5 years, criminal damage to property, use/possession with the intent to use drug paraphernalia, and possession of opiate/ opium/ narcotic/ or certain stimulant.  Total bond was set at $7,000. Lambert was confined at the time of this report.
