Manhattan, Kan. -
Officers filed a report of forgery in the 700 block of Pecan Circle in Manhattan on June 7, 2024, at approximately 9:30 AM. Officers listed Thermal Comfort Air as the victim when it was reported a known subject cashed a check written to a vendor. Total loss associated with this report is $15,247.90.
Officers filed a report of felony theft in the 100 block of South 5th Street in Manhattan on June 7, 2024, at approximately 12:16 PM. Officers listed Dillons as the victim when it was reported approximately $3,000 has been taken from the registers over three month's time.
Officers filed a report of aggravated assault in the 500 block of North 4th Street in Manhattan on June 7, 2024, at approximately 2:28 PM. Officers listed a 61-year-old male as the victim when it was reported a known suspect waived a gun at him. The incident is said to have occurred approximately nine months ago.
Vontrell Evans, 20, of Manhattan, was arrested in the 600 block of Highland Ridge Drive in Manhattan on June 7, 2024, at approximately 10:02 AM. Evans was arrested on probable cause offenses of theftof property or services and criminal use of a financial card. Total bond was set at $10,000. Evans was confined at the time of this report.
Ryan Irvine, 41, of Wamego, was arrested on June 8, 2024, at approximately 1:07 PM in the 300 block of Brookmont Drive. Irvine was arrested on a Riley County District Court warrant for failure to appear. The original charges were for driving while suspended and no proof of insurance. Total bond was set at $5,000. Irvine was not confined at the time of this report.
Officers filed a report of criminal damage to property in the 300 block of Fourteenth Street in Odgen on June 9, 2024, at approximately 6:23 AM. Officers listed a 22-year-old male as the victim when it was reported a known subject damaged property in his home. Total estimated loss involved with this report is over $1,000.
Officers filed a report of aggravated assault and aggravated battery in the 800 block of Dondee Drive in Manhattan on June 9, 2024, at approximately 8:05 PM. Officers listed a 61-year-old female as the victim when it was reported a known male subject struck the victim with a metal patio chair. The victim was transported to Via Christi by EMS for treatment of her non life-threatening injuries. Arrested on the probable cause offense for aggravated battery was William Webster, 42, of Manhattan. Total bond was set for $20,000. Webster was confined at the time of this report.
