Manhattan, Kan. -
Officers filed a report of theft in the 500 block of S. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive on April 29, 2024, at approximately 2:32 PM. Officers listed a 51-year-old male as the victim when it was reported a wedding ring was left in his hotel room for an hour and upon arrival back to the room the ring was gone. Total estimated loss in this matter is $10,000. The suspect is unknown at this time. Anyone with information can contact Crime Stoppers. Using Crime Stoppers allows you to remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
Officers filed a report of an injury accident in the 7000 block of Stockdale Park Road on April 29, 2024, at approximately 8:44 PM. Officers report both the male driver and female passenger of a single motorcycle versus deer accident were transported to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
Gerry Phillips II, 32, of Manhattan, was arrested in the 1000 block of S. Seth Child Road on April 29, 2024, at approximately 9:20 AM. Phillips II was arrested on a Riley County District Court warrant for probation violation. The original charge in this matter was for domestic battery. Total bond was set at $6,000. Phillips II was confined at the time of this report.
