Manhattan, Kan. -
Officers filed a report for theft in the 2700 block of Brittany Terr. in Manhattan on January 22, 2024, around 12:56 PM. Officers listed a 25-year-old male as the victim when it was reported an unknown suspect stole several bags containing tools and household goods from the victim. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $5,718. Anyone with information can contact Crime Stoppers. Officers filed a report for criminal deprivation of property in the 2500 block of Farm Bureau Road in Manhattan, on January 22, 2024, at approximately 6:42 PM. Officers listed a 46-year-old female as the victim when it was reported a known male suspect took her 2013 black Chevy Impala without her permission. The total loss associated with this case is approximately $7,500. Officers in Salina, Kansas were able to recover the vehicle several hours later.
Dallas Colbert, 19, of Manhattan was arrested while in the 1000 block of S. Seth Child Road in Manhattan on January 22, 2024, around 1:40 PM. Colbert was arrested on probable cause offenses for burglary, theft of property or services, criminal damage to property, use/possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia, and possession of marijuana. Colbert was issued a total bond of $15,000 and was confined at the time of this report.
Charla Albright, 43, of Manhattan, was arrested at the intersection of S. Juliette Ave. and Colorado Street in Manhattan on January 23, 2024, at approximately 12:37 AM. Albright was arrested on a Riley County District Court warrant for failure to appear. The original charge was for driving while suspended, third or subsequent conviction. Albright was issued a total bond of $5,000 and was confined at the time of this report.
