Manhattan, Kan. -

Officers filed a report for aggravated assault, aggravated battery, and domestic battery in Manhattan on January 1, 2024, around 8:01 AM.  Two males ages 44 and 29 and a 40-year-old female were listed as the victims and a 44-year-old male known to the victims as the subject. Due to the nature of the crime reported (domestic), no additional information will be released.

Officers filed a report for criminal use of a financial card x3 and theft x3 in the 600 block of south Seth Child Road in Manhattan on January 1, 2024, around 11:38 AM.  Officers listed a 38-year-old male, Home Depot, and Discover as the victims when it was reported an unknown suspect made fraudulent unauthorized purchases in October of last year. The estimated total loss is approximately $1,306.56. Anyone with information can contact Crime Stoppers. Using Crime Stoppers allows you to remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward of up to $1,000.

Officers filed a report for criminal restraint and domestic battery in Manhattan on January 1, 2024, around10:26 PM.  A 40-year-old female was listed as the victim and a male as the subject.  Due to the nature of the crime reported (domestic), no additional information will be released.  Leonardo Centeno, 30, of Manhattan, was arrested on January 1, 2024 around 11:12 PM. Centeno was arrested on probable cause offenses of domestic battery (x2), criminal restraint, and assault. Centeno was issued a total bond of $12,500 and was confined at the time of this report.
