Manhattan, Kan. -
Officers filed a report for rape in Manhattan on September 29, 2023, at approximately 8:00 a.m. A 17-year-old woman was listed as the victim and a 16-year-old man was listed as the suspect. Due to the nature of the crime reported, no additional information will be released.
Amanda McMillon, 45, of Charlston, IL, was arrested on September 29, 2023, at approximately 4:30 p.m. on a Riley County District Court warrant for violation of the Kansas offender registration act. McMillon remains confined in the Riley County Jail with a bond of $5,000.
Officers filed a report for criminal damage to property in the 3100 block of Bermuda Ln in Manhattan on September 30, 2023 at approximately midnight. A 27-year-old man was listed as a victim when he reported that an unknown person caused about $700 in damage to his vehicle by breaking one of the windows.
