These comments can be in the form of praise or concerns. The intent of the accreditation process is to provide the participating agency with information to support continuous improvement, as well as foster the pursuit of professional excellence. For over 30 years, the Riley County Police Department has held itself to the highest standard in law enforcement as recognized by CALEA. As part of routine CALEA assessments for re-accreditation, community members are invited to offer comments regarding our ability to comply with set standards.
Re-accreditation examines all aspects of our department’s policies and procedures, management, operations, and support services.
