MANHATTAN, KAN. -- Officers executed a search warrant at approximately 9:36 p.m. on Jan. 15, 2026 in the 1600 block of Woodcrest Drive. The results of the search warrant led to the arrest of David Labombarbe, 39, and Bailey Crumpton, 27, both of Manhattan. Labombarbe was arrested for distribution or possession with intent to distribute heroin/fentanyl within 1000 feet of a school (3.5 grams but less than 100 grams), distribution of substance in 65-4105h (10 units but less than 100 units), possession of opiate/opium/narcotic or certain stimulant, possession of depressant, criminal use of weapons, possession of paraphernalia with intent to manufacture/plant/cultivate controlled substance and use/possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia. Labombarbe was issued no bond and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report. Crumpton was arrested for possession of opiate/opium/narcotic or certain stimulant, use/possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia and interference with a law enforcement officer. Crumpton was issued a total bond of $9,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.
Jessica Urbina, 21, of Manhattan, was arrested at approximately 5:53 p.m. on Jan. 15 in the 300 block of Twelfth Street in Ogden on a Riley County District Court warrant for probation violation. This arrest stems from original charges of possession of fentanyl, hydrocodone/drug paraphernalia. Urbina was issued a total bond of $15,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.
Officers executed a search warrant at approximately 5:36 p.m. on Jan. 15 in the 300 block of Twelfth Street in Ogden. The results of the search warrant led to the arrest of Luke Johnson, 63, of Ogden, at approximately 5:48 p.m. for use/possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia, interference with a law enforcement officer and possession of opiate/opium/narcotic or certain stimulant. Johnson was issued a total bond of $12,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.
Mahbooba Babrakzai, 41, of Manhattan, was arrested at approximately 1:50 p.m. on Jan. 15 for battery of a law enforcement officer in the 1000 block of S. Seth Child Road. A 34-year-old man was listed as the victim in the report that was initially filed on Nov. 21, 2025. Babrakzai was issued a total bond of $15,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.
Nathan Bell, 30, of Manhattan, was arrested at approximately 1:25 p.m. on Jan. 15 on a Riley County District Court warrant for battery of a law enforcement officer in the 1000 block of S. Seth Child Road. A 40-year-old man was listed as the victim on a report that was filed on Nov. 3, 2025. Bell was issued a total bond of $15,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.
Katrina Fair, 40, of Manhattan, was arrested at approximately 10:05 a.m. on Jan. 15 on a Riley County District Court warrant for probation violation. This arrest stems from original charges of theft. Fair was issued no bond and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.
