Cops N' Kids

Cops N' Kids is a program that supports families in the community who cannot afford holiday presents. Historically the program has served over 50 families each year. More recently, through the generous donations of employees and the public, the program has served around 75 children each December. Throughout the years, money was raised through various avenues including employee direct donations, public contributions, and Hair for the Holidays.

Community members can nominate children for this program by visiting this page on our website. Nominations for the 2024 event have closed. The nomination form will be live on this page between November 1-25 each year. 

Riley County Police Department Officers and Community Organizations make needs-based nominations each holiday season.  Due to the continuous growth of this program, these nominations are prioritized. Nominations made using the online form will be evaluated to fill additional spaces if available.  Our goal is to help as many children as possible each holiday season.

Donations can be made to the Riley County FOP Lodge #17 through venmo or cash/check donations can be dropped off at RCPD front counter or mailed to: PO Box 362, Manhattan, KS 66505
