Do you have confidence in the Riley County Police Department’s ability to investigate and solve major cases? Would you feel comfortable calling us if you need help?

We want to know those things and more in a new community survey conducted by the National Police Foundation. The National Police Foundation is a nonprofit, non-member organization dedicated to improving policing. The organization is working to capture information on what you think about police working where you live. The survey is completely confidential. Your individual responses will not be revealed to the department or any other agency or organization.

We are using the survey to gauge community attitudes and perceptions of RCPD's performance in accomplishing our mission of reducing crime and improving the quality of life for the citizen we serve. The results of this survey and follow-up surveys will be reported to the public and will help us continue to improve our agency. The survey is currently open and will remain open until December 15, 2019.

To participate in the survey, you have two options.
