A Manhattan man was arrested late this afternoon in connection to a domestic incident that occurred yesterday in Manhattan.
Desie Chatfield, 41, of Manhattan was arrested for aggravated kidnapping and aggravated battery today stemming from the incident involving a 42-year-old female victim. Chatfield is alleged to have prevented the victim from leaving a residence after an argument and stabbing her in the arm with a fork.
Chatfield is currently confined in the Riley County Jail on a $150,000 bond.

A Salina man has been arrested on a warrant stemming from a November 2019 aggravated robbery in Manhattan.
On November 9, 2019 around 11:35 p.m., officers responded to the report of a robbery in the 400 block of Fremont St. A 31-year-old male victim reported two masked suspects robbed him at gun point.
Lee Dennis Noonan, 30, of Salina was arrested yesterday afternoon in connection for two counts of aggravated robbery and one count of aggravated kidnapping. Noonan is confined in the Riley County Jail on a $150,000 bond.

The Riley County Police Department and emergency personnel from the Manhattan Fire Department, Riley County EMS, and other law enforcement partners will be participating in a joint active violence training exercise taking place over three consecutive days next week. This training will focus on streamlining interagency cooperation during crisis situations.
