MANHATTAN, KAN. – On Wednesday, June 12, 2019, the Riley County Police Department will be conducting dynamic entry training in the 1500 block of Tuttle Creek Boulevard. Portions of Holiday Drive and Meadows Lane will be closed from 8 a.m., until the exercise is complete around 5:00 p.m.

“The ability to train officers on alternative entry methods in a real-world situation, allows us to be better prepared to respond to certain emergency situations,” Sergeant Scott Hagemeister said.

Citizens near the area may hear controlled explosions. There is no danger to people or property nearby. The training is closed to the public.
