MANHATTAN, KAN. – On May 31, 2018 at approximately 1:00 p.m., officers with the Riley County Police Department responded to the report of a battery on Linear Trail near Richards Drive. Preliminary information gathered by investigators suggests there was one male attacker who battered a lone female runner.

Starting June 3, 2018, the Riley County Police Department Corrections Division will be implementing changes to jail visitation. The jail has added video visitation as a method of communication with inmates in an effort to improve communication and make it more convenient for citizens to talk to their loved ones.

MANHATTAN, KAN. – The Riley County Police Department conducted a DUI Saturation Patrol on Friday, May 11. The focus of this patrol was to identify and remove impaired drivers from the roadway.
