MANHATTAN, KAN. – A collaboration between the Riley County Police Department and the local Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) will bring a new look to several officers this November and benefit low income families in the community at the same time. “Hair for the Holidays” will begin on November 1, 2015 and will allow officers the opportunity to forgo shaving for 30 days, presuming they donate $100.00 to the FOP Cops ’N Kids program.

MANHATTAN, KAN. – Detectives with the Riley County Police Department are asking possible witnesses of a vehicle collision to contact them to help further a fatality collision investigation. If you were witness to the fatal vehicle wreck on October 5, 2015 at approximately 7:15 PM in the 2400 block of Tuttle Creek Blvd. contact RCPD or Detective Joe Ehrlich with the Riley County Police Department Investigations Division.

MANHATTAN, KAN. – Officers with the Riley County Police Department as well as area emergency responders were called to a serious and fatal vehicle collision in the 2400 block of Tuttle Creek Blvd. on October 5, 2015 at approximately 7:20 PM. This collision occurred north of the intersection of Tuttle Creek Blvd. and Northfield Road in Manhattan and involved a 2001 Ford Ranger containing 2 occupants.
