The Riley County Police Department celebrated achievements of their employees and volunteers throughout the 2014 year on February 15, 2015 at the annual awards banquet. The event was well attended and supported by Community 1st National Bank, Manhattan Town Center, and Leonardville State Bank. RCPD is proud to announce the following award recipients.

Employee of the Year - Dispatcher Sarah Martin

Integrity Award - Sergeant Brad Ingalls
Initiative Award - Correction Officer Alex Mills
Initiative Award - Police Officer Steve Fritzson
Reliability Award - Correction Officer Aresha Lige

Riley County Police Department Director Brad Schoen also took the opportunity to highlight the efforts of department volunteers in the VIPS and Auxiliary Police programs. Members of these programs donated in excess of 2,000 hours to assist the department and community over the past year.
