September 17, 2014

On Saturday September 20, 2014, the Riley County Police Department will conduct a MIP/MIC Saturation Patrol. Officers involved in the Saturation Patrol will be enforcing alcohol laws related to underage drinking and taking appropriate enforcement action.

The purpose of this program is to place additional officers in and around the Manhattan area with the goal of identifying underage alcohol consumption. This patrol is the third, in a series of four patrols which will be conducted this year. The Manhattan Area Risk Prevention Coalition (MARPC) has made these saturation patrols possible with the support of the Strategic Prevention Framework Partnership for Success II Grant.
