Details: On 4/4/12, at about 2341hrs, the night manager and his employees were closing the MacDonald’s at Westloop, when a black male wearing black pants, black hoodie and black shoes, entered
the store with a black handgun. The suspect was wearing a black ski mask beneath the hoodie. The suspect demanded money, and upon receiving rolled coins and money, departed the restaurant and was seen by a passerby walking along the sidewalk in front of the new Dillons, and then ran across Claflin Ave, to the nearby apartments.

On April 4, 2012, at about 2342hrs, Riley County Police responded to the Westloop MacDonald’s (1011 Westloop Place) for a report of an armed robbery. The suspect was dressed in all black, wearing a hoodie and black ski mask. The suspect held a black pistol and ordered the night manager to the office. An undetermined amount of coins and currency were taken. The suspect exited the store and fled northbound. The suspect is approximately 6’0”; dark skinned with a thin mustache and has a thin build.

The Riley County Police Department will celebrate National Public Safety Telecommunications Week April 9 – 13, 2012 to recognize the dispatchers who work behind the scenes to answer calls for help every day. The Department employs many highly trained and dedicated Emergency Medical 911 dispatchers and the citizens and visitors of Riley County are the beneficiaries of their outstanding service.
